Pharmaceutial Machines
Main Function
Machines that create and produce different types of medicine. It is an essential part of the process for many individuals’ curing journey or prevention for diseases. These machines contain many different processes, such as drying, compressing, heating, and granulation.

Programming
These pharmaceutical machines require the use of control systems such as Programmable Logic Controllers and Distributed Control systems, that allow for control over processes. There are also softwares that workers use such as SCADA systems and MES, to see the process of making the medicine. However, to use these machines many workers need to be trained via training simulations of the machines, so they can properly and efficiently use them.
Sanitation
These machines need to be sanitized frequently to ensure product safety and to prevent any problems during the process of making medicine. Not only does each machine need to be sanitized fully, but also equipment. Additionally, the environment needs to monitor, which includes air quality, and personal hygiene, so many people working with the machines need to wear a gown when interacting or using the machines.
Automation
Automation is a type of pharmaceutical manufacturing and engineering of machines that produce medicines. Many Automational Engineers regulate the machines, the data, control its processes, and efficiently. For example, many pharmaceutical companies like Merck and BioNTech have many Automational Engineers to control and regulate the machines, sometimes 24/7. These engineers practically hold the patient’s life in their hands because without their help there wouldn’t be medicine for them.
Importance of Pharmaceutical Machines
Pharmaceutical Machines hold the lives of countless patients, as without these machines many people would die due to there being no medicine. If these medicines are not created effectively by the machines which are controlled by Automational Engineers, these patients wouldn’t have medicine. Furthermore, there is a saying, “each medicine capsule holds a life”.
